This Blog will be an Academic Self-Reflective Teaching Blog, which is created with the purpose to share with the blogging community and participants into the Winter 2012 online teachers training course with University of Oregon, Linguistics Department, American English Institute (UO AEI)their experience skills and tools learned during this winter course.
This week will be reflexive and each of us could offer advances in our model of project.
We are keeping in touch in order to learn new ideas from web links, methodology from models of projects,and growing our worlwide friendship.
In this week I met my partner in Venezuela Yohimar Sivira, it was a nice meeting, talking about what are we learning, how to improve our own career, our expectaction, it was a huge meeting!
Twitter has been my way to use computers to enhance the teaching of writing, and vocabulary in my class, my highschool students have been happy using it. I would like to share a photo about their presentation about Means of transportation' presentation, which was share by twitter and they found the information looking for in differents web sites suggested in class for me.
I suggested Jarek Krajka links such as: www.go.com and 10 steps to write argumentative essays.
I used ideas from:Technology Enhanced Lesson Plans, to design my own plan in a week in two real classes.

In Chinese tradition, each year is dedicated to a specific animal. The Dragon, Horse, Monkey, Rat, Boar, Rabbit.Last year I celebrated chinese New Year in Sidney (Aus) and New Zeland with the Rabbit festival.

Our first task evaluate search engine, has taught me a lot: New tools for my ELT classes and to renew old ones that I have been using....

Bloom is our best friend as teacher, he offered us a great handhelper "Bloom Taxonomy", it is a valuable resource to write abcd objectives.
I decided to work with my weekly class and my challenge is to include to my E.S.P course in administration, new and real topics take from internet using specific search engines like business.com or auyantepuy for Venezuela examples, to be translated posting in an edublog and they can develop collaborative work and reading and listening comprehension with audio links and can write their own comment in english including their own mistakes, which will be acceptable for me because it's really hard when they don't have a high level in english proficiency. My students don't have multimedia rooms neither Visual aids nor WIFI,in class I use their mobile phones as resources to search information inmediately from internet, and to share links wih them to use in class.
What are the students needs?
Last Friday I introduced them the idea of this project and they decided to accept because they want new strategies to learn and new technology tools to use in their future as Administrators.Let's open an Edublog!

They will be a cooperative group of work, and I will be the guide of them.
I offered my example to open a blog for both sections to make a diagnoses about this new goal.(I used blogger, but I offered bligoo,wordpress,dinstudio,and inube, too) My example:
Our bibliography guide is our book: Business and Management editorial Richmond. Units 4 and 5
They'll use each lesson theme to get new ones from web to paste and translate and explained in final oral presentation.They will design their own presentation card to offer to their classmates their links to follow and write their comments.

Today it's a pleasure for me open this blog just when in Venezuela we'll celebrate next January 15th "Teachers's Day", this date is really important for me because To be a teacher requiere each day to be a student, and American Embassy and Oregon University is offering this opportunity to be a student to grow as a Teacher, thanks for this gift that I'll try to share with my colleagues and friends.
